Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Chia Seeds
  • Add 1/4 cup (more if you would like more chocolate flavour) Cocoa Powder
  • Add 1/3 Cup Organic Maple Syrup or Agave Nectar
  • Add 1/3 Cup of Peptitas (pumpkin) seeds
  • Add 1/3 cup of raisins
  • Add 1/3 cup of Sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp Natural Vanilla Ext
  • 1 30 gm sag of Pumpkin Protein Powder
  • Add the warm Quinoa
(For this recipe I did 1 1/2 cups of Quinoa to 3 cups of water
I then added in at the end 1 30 gram serving of Pumpkin Protein Powder
I added a little more liquid as needed to keep it soft, for when I add it to the dry ingredients (it just blends better then)

Directions:

1. Turn on stove top, bring 3 cups of water to boil, then add 1/2 cups of quinoa, and simmer for 15 minutes

2. Mix all other ingredients in large bowl

3. Add the pumpkin protein powder to the cooked Quinoa and blend

4. Add Protein/Quinoa to large bowl of remaining ingredients and serve warm!

This was a quick breakfast I threw together before my husband went out the door. It was so easy to make, the Quinoa is the only part that requires actual time/work. And I just put it on the stove while making my sons lunch. Β I got a big thumbs up from my husband for this warm, nutty and slightly sweet breakfast cereal. Packed with Omega’s, Protein, Amino Acids and so much more! A GREAT start to the morning with a little ‘clean’ indulgence.
Feel free to play around with the sweetness, and dry added items for your own preference!
